About Poppy on a Kite: Poppy on a Kite is about the health, wellness and self-image journey … the struggles and the triumphs, discovering that the human experience is unique and amazingly similar and that men and women of all shapes and sizes deserve to feel beautiful (always!) and be healthy.
Blog Founder: Suban Nur Cooley
Bio: I’m an African Australian expat living in the Midwest with a passion for a ton of things (listed in the “likes” section below). I started Poppy on a Kite in March of 2011 with the goal of getting back into shape and becoming a healthy person … but my goals were outwardly focused. All I wanted to do was lose weight and get back in shape. What I learned as I blogged and shared my struggles and triumphs was that everyone is on “the journey” to better health. Now, Poppy is about the story and the experience. This blog is here to motivate people and remind you to always feel confident in who you are … and that you’re not alone.
